Self Care according to Wikipedia is defined as anything you can do to take care of yourself so you can stay physically,mentally, and emotionally well.
Self Care can be important to maintaining a healthy relationship with yourself and others, at times by means of doing things to take care of our mind, body and soul which can contribute to our physical health as well.
When practicing Self Care it can be beneficial in ways that are unimaginable including but not limited to reducing stress, boosting self esteem and protection of your mental health.
With each issue of this newsletter we will go in depth into exactly what Self Care looks like by breaking down the different aspects of Self Care which includes,The Principals, Quadrants, Types, Techniques and Benefits, which I have touched briefly on above.
By familiarizing ourselves with these different aspects it is hoped that we will all do better as a whole collective in contributing to the care of ourselves which will in fact lead to a more fulfilling way of existing in a community that can cause exhausting outcomes from day to day living. By the end of the series you should be able to come up with a game plan for Self Care that will be an attribute to or conducive to your day to day living.
Not everybody's Self Care will look the same however, by implementing the knowledge that will be obtained through this series, the overall outcome will appear similar which is ultimately a better us and community.
