Making Banana Nut Bread 

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 large bananas, mashed
  • 3/4 cup white sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup butter, melted

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Coat muffin pans with nonstick spray, or use paper liners.

Into a mixing bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Set aside.

In a separate mixing bowl, combine bananas, sugar, egg and melted butter.

Fold in flour mixture and mix until smooth.

Scoop mixture into muffin pans filling about half way.

Bake in preheated oven for 14-15 minutes for mini muffins, and 28-30 minutes for larger muffins. Muffins will spring back when lightly tapped.

Check with a toothpick until toothpick comes out clean.

Cool and enjoy!
